General Visa Requirements

To issue a visa for Israel, you must apply through the Israeli consulate or embassy in your country. The process typically includes submitting an application form, a valid passport, passport-sized photos, and supporting documents such as proof of accommodation, a return flight ticket, and financial means.

Israel offers many accommodation options, from luxury and boutique hotels to budget hostels and guesthouses.

We can offer several options near the Hospital (a few minutes walk):

  • Hotels offer special discounts to KDM patients
  • Furnished Apartments for long stay (studio, one/two bedroom)

Kindly, note that the payment to the Hotel/apartment should be made directly by you in the following options:

  • Direct Bank transfer to the Hotel/Apartment account before arrival in Israel.
  • Credit card. if you hold an international Credit Card which allows you to make payments outside of your country. It would be best if you verified this with your Bank.

Near the Hotel/apartment, you can find restaurants offering various options for lunch and dinner.

If you would like to buy some grocery products, you can find them at the Supermarket near the Hotel.

The local currency in Israel is the Israeli Shekel (ILS).

The exchange rate as of March 15, 2025 is $1=3.65NIS; €1=3.95NIS

The electricity voltage in Israel is 230V, with a frequency of 50Hz. The power plugs and sockets used are type C and H.

It is recommended to have a Universal adapter.

Payments to hospitals and hotels in Israel can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or online payment services.

Ensure you confirm the preferred payment method with the respective hospital or hotel and make arrangements accordingly.

Payment must be transferred directly to the hospital’s bank account before the patient arrives in Israel.

  • Free WIFI is available at Ben-Gurion International Airport in Israel, at the Hospital, and at the Hotel.
  • Israeli SIM cards can be bought in kiosks near the Hospital.
  • Our representative will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel.

Israel’s climate is characterized by hot, sunny summers from May to September. Winter is from November to March.

The average temperature ranges from 13/14 °C (55/57 °F) in January to about 28 °C (81/82 °F) in July and August.

The days are longer in summer (June to September) than in winter (December to March). With up to about 14:20 hours, there are the longest days in June.

The longest nights, are in winter. A December night lasts almost 14 hours.
